Morellino is the local name for Sangiovese grown in the south-west tip of Tuscany around the village of Scansano. Sangiovese is most famous for being the main component of Chianti. Cherry and violet aromas dominate this well-structured wine which has a delicious freshness to the finish. Serve it at 18*C with first coure dishes, grilled meat or pizza.
